- Nebulization Therapy Can be used with a nebulizer for severe asthma attacks or exacerbations under medical supervision.
Dosage and Administration
- Follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and inhalation technique strictly.
- Prime the inhaler if it’s new or hasn’t been used for more than a week.
- Breathe out fully, then place the inhaler mouthpiece between your lips and inhale deeply and forcefully.
- Hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.

- Do not exceed the recommended dose or frequency of inhalation.
- Avoid using the inhaler if it appears damaged or if the medication has expired.
- Do not share your inhaler with others, even if they have similar symptoms.
- Do not use for sudden asthma attacks; use a rescue inhaler (e.g., albuterol) for acute symptoms.
Mechanism of Action
Budesonide is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation in the airways. It inhibits the release of inflammatory substances in the lungs, thereby preventing asthma attacks and improving symptoms of COPD.
