Directions: Follow your doctor’s prescription exactly. To use Accu-Chek Softclix, first, wash and dry your hands. Remove the cap and insert a new lancet until it clicks into place. Twist off the protective cap of the lancet and replace the lancing device cap. Adjust the penetration depth using the comfort dial. Press the priming button until the release button turns yellow. Press the device firmly against the selected puncture site and press the release button. After obtaining the blood drop, eject the used lancet and discard it safely. Do not use the strips on more than one patient. Do not use it if the device or lancet appears damaged. Avoid use if the lancet protective cap is missing or deformed, as this may indicate loss of sterility. Do not reuse lancets, as this may cause infections.

Side Effects: There are no direct side effects of using Accu-Chek Softclix Lancet Strips. However, you might suffer from infection, which can occur if lancets are reused or shared. Sharing the lancing device can also increase the risk of cross-contamination and infection.

Before you use Accu-Chek SoftClix Lancet Strips, tell your healthcare provider if you:

Mannitol can alter readings, especially in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.

While Accu-Chek Softclix do not directly interact with medications, the glucose meters and test strips used alongside them may be affected. Always consult a healthcare professional if you suspect medication interference.

Store the strips at room temperature. Keep it away from extreme heat, humidity, and direct sunlight. Do not store it in a primed state or with a lancet inserted.
