Indications

Myrbetriq is indicated for:

• Treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) in adults with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency.
• Treatment of neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) in pediatric patients aged 3 years and older and weighing 35 kg or more.

Dosage and Administration

Mechanism of Action

Myrbetriq works by activating beta-3 adrenergic receptors in the bladder. Precautions

• Urinary Retention: Use Myrbetriq with caution in patients with bladder outlet obstruction and in those taking muscarinic antagonist drugs for overactive bladder due to the risk of urinary retention.
• Angioedema: Angioedema involving the face, lips, tongue, and/or larynx has been reported with mirabegron. Discontinue use if symptoms occur.

Storage Instructions

Store Myrbetriq granules at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
